The Kirk Family

Photographing other photographers and their families can be super stressful but also incredibly rewarding. :) I joined up with a handful other local photographers to do portrait swaps, and below are some of my favorites of the session we did of the Kirk family in Old Poway Park!

Chrissie is a fellow Marine wife, a super mom, and the photographer and brains behind Bella Luce Photography. Her two boys were total hams during the session, so it was a blast!

Merry Christmas!

I’m so excited to share these images with you!

Last month, my friend Katie let me in on a little secret: she and her husband, Chris, are expecting their first child next year! She was hoping we’d be able to create a Christmas card she could send out to her friends and family to share the news. We met up at the Ranch House at Camp Pendleton with a few props to create the perfect announcement card. We created the cards and she sent them to their family and friends, so now I’m able to share the news here, too!

Congratulations to the soon-to-be parents! I’m so excited to meet their little one next summer!

Baby C

I recently met up with my gorgeous friend, Jenifer, to capture some portraits of her precious son. Jenifer’s husband is currently deployed, so I was happy to create some beautiful images that she could send him to hold him over until he’s able to meet little Baby C next year. Below are a handful of my favorites.

I’m so impressed with women who give birth while their husbands are gone. Jenifer is one of several of my friends who have done it, and her strength really amazes me.

The G Family

It sure has been a while since I’ve posted here. I was up to my nose in family sessions and family gatherings this fall, though I wouldn’t change it for anything!

Here is a recent family session I did with the fabulous G family at Oceanside Pier and Beach. Isn’t little D just as cute as can be??
