Several months ago, fellow film photographer Gretchen Willis of Gretchen Willis Photography came upon a stash of old, expired film from Seattle Film Works. She was generous enough to share it with photographers across the nation, and I’m so glad I got to experiment with a roll!
I took mine camping with my pup, Cash, while I participated in a tintype workshop at Palomar Mountain State Park. The workshop itself was amazing, and playing with this new (to me) film stock was a treat! I was afraid that nothing would turn out, but it was fun to see the results–some with red tones, some with a lot of grain, some on the darker side–they look like they were printed in a newspaper!
