Tonya is a total sweetheart who flew out from Texas to see her boyfriend return home from a seven-month deployment! Tyler is one lucky guy to have had such a beautiful, sweet girl wait for him back home! I couldn’t be more excited to see these two back in each other’s arms! These were photographed on Ektar at Salvation Mountain, and I love how much punch the color has on this film stock! Untitled 2014

The gallery was put together by the San Diego Chapter of American Photographic Artists, curated by Rob Petrie. Film Friday – Joshua Tree with BAPR

I photographed a bunch of rolls of film, but already killed two in the darkroom and partially ruined a third. USMC Homecoming at Camp Pendleton

Though Mom had been in communication with me regarding the date for Dad’s homecoming for several weeks, she didn’t let her children know that he was on his way back until they arrived at the Motor Pool for his arrival! I have no idea how she was able to keep it a secret from them for so long, but I’m so happy that it doesn’t have to be a secret anymore! ;) Welcome back, Marines!!
