Film Fridays – Peach Sparkler Cocktail

I’m feeling thirsty today, so I’m featuring an image I took with my Nikon N8008 while concocting and photographing a peach sparkler cocktail for Vows & Valor! Though I photographed the process with my digital camera, I stopped to make this one image on film before enjoying the deliciousness! ;) See more images and the recipe here!

Samantha & Chris – Family Session at the San Diego Convention Center

Samantha, Chris, and their adorable daughter Z met up for a fun family session at the San Diego Convention Center one early morning a couple weekends ago, in preparation of Samantha and Chris’ upcoming vow renewal! Samantha wanted to make sure that they had images to display at their reception, and I couldn’t have been happier to meet up with these three before the big day! Film Fridays – Jordan & Ben

Last weekend’s fun session with these two ended in an incredible sunset that you may have seen if you follow me on Instagram or on Facebook! Jordan and Ben were awesome in front of the camera, and I’m so excited to share these images that were captured on Portra 400 film. These were all photographed at 1/125s and f/2.8. The Hord Family – Oceanside Pier and Beach

It’s always so great to hear back from families who I have photographed in the past, and getting a message from Jill was no exception! Not only is she a fellow photographer and Marine wife, but she just got out of the Marine Corps herself, about a year ago. I said it in my last post featuring her family and I’ll say it again here.. She really is a super woman!

Meeting up with Jill and her family on the beach here in Oceanside was a true treat! Here are some favorites from our evening together.

The Hatfield Family – Oceanside Pier and Beach

The Hatfield girls are some of the sweetest rock collectors I’ve ever met. Both A and M were seriously interested in keeping their findings safe through our session together, so I was happy when they trusted me to hold onto them for a few minutes at a time. These gorgeous redheads were so fun to meet and hang out with at the beach!
