HeartsApart.org – Part 3

I’m delighted to bring you another round of images from a recent family session I did in conjunction with HeartsApart.org. This family was an absolute dream to work with and I was so honored that they allowed me to share these precious moments with them! Here are just a few of my favorites.

Many thanks to HeartsApart for setting up this session and to this gorgeous family for the opportunity to photograph them!

Jerome – Coronado Senior Portraits

Jerome contacted me recently, practically in a panic because he put off doing his senior portraits to THE VERY LAST MINUTE. He said his mom and dad had been hassling him to get them done for a few months now, and it was about 10 days away from when they were planning to send out his graduation announcements. And here I thought that only architecture students were taught procrastination skills in college! ;)

Well, I was really happy to squeeze Jerome into my already-packed schedule. We met when I was a group leader for the National Teen Leadership Program and he was in my small group. (Yep, that means he was in high school at the time!) Fast forward a few years, and I’m proud to say that Jerome has joined the ranks as a staff member for NTLP–and I think any NTLP participant will tell you that he’s one of the best ones we have!

Jerome wanted to incorporate visual aspects of the city of San Diego into his session. I asked what he meant by that, and he said he’d love to get images while in front of the San Diego-Coronado Bridge. To accomplish that goal, we met on the Coronado side at Tidelands Park to capture the bridge, then walked down the bike path to capture the San Diego skyline. Jerome brought momentos from his family and college career to use during the session, which was a great idea! Check out some of my favorite images below!

Thank you, Jerome, for letting me capture your senior portraits! I had a lot of fun with you at the beach! And a big congratulations on your graduation!

xoxo,
Lauren
