Keeli & Kevin – Burleson Texas Winery Wedding Sneak Peek

Congratulations to Keeli and Kevin, who tied the knot on Saturday with a beautiful ceremony at Lost Oak Winery in Burleson, Texas! The two lovebirds are off enjoying the sun and surf in Mexico, but I couldn’t help but post a handful of favorite images from their big day.

Keeli’s Bridal Portraits

I’m so glad I’m finally able to share these portraits with you, now that Keeli and Kevin have tied the knot! Keeli and I met up at the Ft. Worth Stockyards a couple months ago to photograph these gorgeous bridal portraits.

We had both traveled to the Dallas/Ft. Worth area for these portraits one weekend, and Texas’ crazy weather almost thwarted our plans! Luckily, Keeli was able to rearrange the schedule of a bridal shower she had so that we could meet up earlier that weekend to photograph these, and I’m so glad it worked out! We started at the Stockyards and moved to Rangers Stadium since Kevin is big Rangers fan.

Here are some favorites from our time together.

Angie & DJ – Keys Creek Lavender Farm Wedding

Angie and DJ were kind enough to don wedding attire for this fun session at Keys Creek Lavender Farm in Valley Center last summer. This session was one of the portrait swaps I participated in with a handful of other military wife photographers in San Diego, featuring the gorgeous Angie of Angie Schutt Photography, and her handsome husband, DJ! These two have moved on to their new home in Colorado and I miss them dearly!

This wedding styled session was in honor of these love birds’ 5th anniversary, and it was a joy to photograph them to mark this memorable occasion! The lavender farm was in gorgeous bloom and provided the perfect backdrop for these images. Seeing the way DJ looked at Angie in her stunning gown was so sweet! Here are some favorites from the afternoon.

Paul & Rich – Japanese Friendship Garden Wedding

Have you ever been to a wedding where everything just feels right? You can tell that the two tying the knot love each other so much and both had been waiting for this day their entire lives? The support from the families involved is clearly evident and the day goes so smoothly that you’re afraid to sneeze, causing the event’s only ripple?

Paul and Rich’s wedding day was just like that.

Arriving at the Japanese Friendship Garden in Balboa Park, guests were in for a true treat: a gorgeous, love-filled ceremony and a partying reception to last the night. When Rich sang his vows to Paul, there was hardly a dry eye in the garden, and the love didn’t stop there. Paul and Rich’s celebration was simply perfect.

A huge congratulations go to Paul and Rich! Thank you so much for allowing me to capture your wedding day!

San Diego Shooting Group – Del Mar Bridals

The latest event for the San Diego Shooting Group took us to Del Mar, where we photographed the fabulous newlyweds Sarah and Reuben in their wedding attire! Sarah is an amazing photographer too, and I was so happy that she was willing to model for some fun photos on the beach! Though I didn’t capture too many images since I spent a lot of time holding a reflector for the other photographers, here are some favorites. :)

Huge thank you to Julia Sparks-Frye, the make-up artist for the shoot; Veronica Moreno, who styled Sarah’s gorgeous locks; and Carlos Rodriguez of Rodriguez Flowers for the beautiful bridal bouquet! And more thanks to Yvonne Williams for all of her help in putting this event together and to Sarah and Reuben for allowing us to photograph you!
