Film Friday – A Holga in Nashville

I had a Holga in my Amazon shopping cart for what seems like years before I decided to finally bite the bullet and order it before heading to Nashville for PPA’s annual conference, ImagingUSA, last week. I didn’t heed others’ warnings about taping the back closed, nor about taping the sliders up so as to prevent light leaks. While walking around, I definitely accidentally popped the back open, but I was overall pretty happy with the results. There were also a few accidental double-exposures because I couldn’t remember whether I had already wound the camera (first world problems). I struggled with not being able to frame in-camera, though it was fun to play around with the Holga and I look forward to future adventures with it. :)
