The R Family – Rustic Barn Portrait Session

Miss E was such a delight to run around with one afternoon for a family session with her mom and dad at this rustic barn! Mom and I play kickball together here at Camp Pendleton, and it’s been a blast to be on the same team! She is fun, dedicated, and so motivating to be around. Photographing this family together was a treat! Here are a few favorites.

Welcome Home! – MCAS Miramar Homecoming

Dad was gone for too long before making his long trip back to California. After being stuck en route for what seemed like forever, he was free to come home! His family was anxiously awaiting his return and is so relieved that he’s back!

Samantha & Chris – San Diego Garden Wedding

Samantha and Chris’ outdoor garden wedding was the perfect occasion to celebrate their commitment to each other and their beautiful daughter! Samantha hand made practically everything for the day, from the amazing garlands hanging from the trees to the fun centerpieces on the tables to the delicious cupcakes–and even the cupcake topper from the Lego store! Retro Portraits on Fuji Superia Film

Last month’s outing with the San Diego Shooting Group took us downtown to Little Italy, where we met up with the gorgeous Desiree and handsome Ryan for some fun, retro-styled portraits! Shortly after, my husband and I headed to Las Vegas for a couple nights before jetsetting to Texas for my older sister’s graduation from the Dallas Fire Academy. While in Texas, we spent Saturday on a boat at Lake Ray Hubbard, and stopped into the Arlington Museum of Art to check out the Ansel Adams: Masterworks exhibit! Here are some favorites from these adventures.

I rocked my trusty Nikon N8008 and photographed all of these on 35mm Fuji Superia 400 film. :) I’m posting these as part of a blog circle with other Film Mama’s, so please check out the next blog in the circle: Madison WI family photographer Gretchen Willis Photography!
