Ashley + JP – Rancho Santa Fe Wedding

I’m so excited to share this one image from yesterday’s wedding at a private estate in Rancho Santa Fe! I shot this wedding as an associate photographer with Captured by Aimee, so I can’t wait to see how Aimee puts her magic touch on all of the photos! I’ll be sharing more later!

Holiday 2012 Special from LNP

Hi all!

I know it’s still July for a handful more days, but it’s time to start thinking about your holiday photos for 2012! Last year, I booked up during the latter months of the year and would love to get some of you in for your yearly family session before we all get busy with our holiday plans. As an incentive to book sooner rather than later, I’m offering a special!

If you book your session by August 5, you will receive a complimentary set of 25 holiday cards featuring your favorite photo from our session together! To take advantage of this offer, the session must be booked by August 5, 2012, AND take place by September 30, 2012. The holiday card choices are shown in the image below.

Additional sets of cards are available for $25 each. Please note that this special does not apply to homecoming sessions.

Contact me to schedule your session today! Email me at [email protected] or use the form here to submit a message.

Lauren

The R Family

I can’t get enough of little baby Caleb! Laura contacted me to set up a session before Caleb got any bigger and grew out of that amazing red hair! We decided to do an in-studio session since we were on a tight schedule and didn’t want to rely on the weather. It was great to have the R family in studio! Check out some of my favorite images!

Carlsbad Village Photo Walk

I had another enjoyable photo walk in Carlsbad Village with the Pacific Photographic Society last week! Here are some of my favorite photos from the event.

Both of the following sunset images were taken after the sun had sun below the horizon at about 8:00pm. The first photo was taken at 8:25pm; the second at 8:30pm. For these images, I was using a 0.9 neutral density filter and the exposures were each 30 seconds long. The first image was shot at f/22 and the second at f/11. I love staying out beyond the scheduled sunset time, because that’s when I’m able to capture the deepest hues. So gorgeous!

Yes, that is the Oceanside Pier in the background of the images!

I hope you’re having a great week!

Happy Independence Day!

Happy 236th Birthday to the United States!

I’m celebrating the 4th of July this year with my husband and in-laws down in Coronado. I went to the 4th of July celebration in Coronado last year with my parents-in-law (is that a real term?) and some family friends. I’m excited because, this year, my husband isn’t in Afghanistan AND my brother-in-law is in town from Hong Kong for the week! Parties all around!

In honor of the holiday, I used this recipe to make these amazing baked oatmeal cups with mixed berries to create the red and blue coloring. :) Some are plain; some have strawberries; the rest have an assortment combination of raspberries, blueberries, and strawberries. These muffins are absolutely delicious so you should really drop what you’re doing right now and go make some! Thank me later! ;)

I hope y’all have a wonderful 4th of July with your family and friends!

Lauren
