Baby A

After we were able to get some great shots of Baby Z, I was able to stick around for a few awesome ones of Baby A as well! As I mentioned, Baby Z’s mom, S, is a photographer, so she had scheduled a session Baby A’s family for the same day that I photographed her daughter. Big sister was SO exited to finally be able to meet her little brother. Can you see it in her smile? :)

They were SO precious!

A Photo Walk in Carlsbad

As I’ve mentioned in other posts, I love getting out with fellow photographers to capture some images of our gorgeous surroundings! Last weekend, I organized an outing with the Pacific Photographic Society in the Carlsbad Village area. We met up at a Starbucks, then walked a few miles, stopping to snap some photos along the way. Here are some of the shots I captured!

Of course we headed to the beach to capture the sunset! :)

The rain cleared just in time for our walk and we all had a great time! Thank you to those who joined me! :)

Baby Z

I was so excited that my friend S invited me to come over to photograph her brand-new baby girl! She is a wonderful photographer so it was awesome to be able to spend an afternoon hanging out with her, learning from her, and meeting her beautiful daughter! Big sister was on hand and so excited that baby “Turkey” was finally out of the oven!

S really wanted to get a shot of Baby’s feet with big sister’s and mom’s hands. Isn’t it beautiful?

Then it was time for baby!

Many, many thanks to S for allowing me to capture her sweet, baby girl!

San Diego Shooting Group – Little Italy

Last week, I met up with my friends from the San Diego Shooting Group for a shoot down in the Little Italy area of San Diego. We started out with a coffee from Influx before hitting the streets with a couple models for the evening! We had a blast wondering around the area and photographing these two gorgeous girls on the way. :)

Here are some of my favorites from the evening; some are of the models and some are of us in action!

Ollie was doing a fantastic job of showing Tarza what he wanted her to do!

And here’s the resulting image I captured. :)

Apparently sometimes the models just need to hug it out. :) But this next photo might just be my favorite from the day…

Lots of thanks to gorgeous Ronna and Tarza for being our models for the evening! Y’all were both total rock stars!! And many thanks to the photographers who joined us!

If you’re a San Diego-based photographer looking for a fun group to get out and shoot with, feel free to email me, facebook me, or tweet me so I can let you know about everything we have planned with the San Diego Shooting Group! We get together every other month, so I’ll be scheduling the next shoot for sometime in June.

The Ross Family

I am so excited to be sharing these photos with you! The Ross Family was SUCH a fun bunch! These kiddos were some of the best behaved boys I’ve ever photographed, and they were incredibly adorable to boot!

We met up at the Ranch House at Camp Pendleton for this session. I love shooting there because it gives plenty of local flavor to the photographs, without being too much. And we always have a lot of fun on the grounds! Here are some of my favorites from this session.

To try to get the boys to warm up to me, I asked them to show me their favorite Superman move. Apparently, Superman isn’t “in” right now (note to self) but the Transformers totally are. I don’t know what Bumble Bee is, but I do know what a ninja is! Here they are, showing me their best ninja kicks!

And then it was time for dancing… :)

Big thanks to the Ross Family for allowing me to capture them this spring!
